For the first time in a long time The Peninsula Club was inundated with 5 inches of ice and snow. The winter storm lasted from February 12-14, closing the club and the entire town of Cornelius.
The Golf Course Maintenance crew spent most of the day digging the shop, clubhouse and tennis facility out from the ice and snow. The crew did a fantastic job getting the clubhouse area cleaned and ready for dinner by Friday afternoon.
