Ultradwarf Winter Covering Update

We will be covering greens Monday evening and leaving them on until Friday morning. The greens will also be covered  Friday evening. This is due to the severe drop in temperature and winter weather we will be experiencing during the middle part of the week.

We will remove the covers after the frost has lifted on Friday and Saturday mornings. The driving range will be open all days except Wednesday.

Covering greens is a common practice done on ultradwarf bermudagrass putting greens during the winter months. This process helps our greens hold heat in the soil profile, prevent plant desiccation and protect turfgrass plants against extreme cold temperatures and wind.

Please call the Golf Course Maintenance Department or Pro Shop with any questions or concerns.
